Made of 5x1.2mm high-quality decorative stainless steel metal strips, WW42G-51221 is a typical architectural metal mesh with a relatively high open area of 55.8%. These stainless steel flat strips are pre-formed with two shallow grooves that enhance the depth of this architectural metal design.

The flat metal strips are 5mm wide and 1.2mm thick, pre-crimped at an interval of approximately 13.6mm to facilitate the weaving process and provide uniform rigidity to the structure of this decorative metal design.

Originally designed as a classic small-square decorative mesh panel, we introduced a creative twist — in every set of three parallel wires, the middle wire is removed, leaving two wires, then repeating the sequence. This selective removal transforms the standard architectural mesh into a unique pattern inspired by our METART-WW42 design but with different decorative metal wires.

The result is a decorative metal screen mesh where the wire intersections form repeating “#” (hashtag) motifs. When four hashtags connect, they create a pattern resembling the traditional Chinese “回” character — blending Western geometry with Eastern cultural symbolism.

Widely used in architectural mesh panels for interior design, this style is especially popular for decorative partitions, screen infills, and ventilation grille designs.
